Photography

From setting up lighting to create an atmosphere, to getting to know different cameras and equipment, to learning how to develop pictures in a darkroom – come and learn the technical and creative skills required to become a successful photographer. Build your professional portfolio, undergo work experience and learn from our expert tutors.

Creative Digital Arts

Have you got a passion for all things creative? Then this Level 2 course is ideal for you. It’s great if you are looking to pursue a career in an art & design based subject, but would like to try your hand at all different areas before you choose a specialism. This course gives you the opportunity to get to grips with the technical skills and equipment required for Photography, Graphic Design, and Art & Design – so you can decide which one suits you.

Foundation Arts Diploma

This course is an intensive and demanding one-year programme, ideal for those with a Level 3 qualification in an Art & Design based subject, who want to progress to study at an Undergraduate level or enter employment.

Graphic Design

Have you got excellent attention to detail? Have you got a keen eye for consistency and can think outside of the box? From advertising, to Adobe Suite and illustration skills, you can expect to become a well-rounded Graphic Designer, capable of filling the needs of any creative brief. Develop your technical skills, and from our experienced tutors. Take advantage of our creative studios and Mac suites, whilst you get to know the software and equipment used in the industry today.

Fashion & Textiles

From concept to design, right through to production and marketing, Fashion & Textiles students learn about the entire process of creating a wide variety of garments and textile pieces. Whether you’ve got your sights set on fashion design, or you love getting creative with different patterns, our expert tutors will put your creativity and talent to the test.

From illustration, to sewing techniques and pattern cutting, discover where your passions lie and find out what it takes to make a career in the industry. Work on live briefs from within the industry, take part in dedicated skills workshops and sell yourself as a designer through fashion shows and exhibits that are open to the public.

Art & Design

From illustration and sculpting, to putting on an exhibit and learning how to sell yourself as an artist, you can expect to grow and refine your technical skills in many different forms of art. Get to grips with contextual study and learn from your experienced tutors about how to turn your passion for all things creative into a career you will love.

Working on live briefs from creative companies within and around Milton Keynes, you will experience life in the industry through exciting work experience opportunities.
