If you have a passion for cooking or baking, we have courses that will be perfect for you. You’ll learn your craft in our industry standard facilities – honing your creative culinary expertise and technical skills.
As well as our professional facilities on site, you will also have the opportunity to gain work experience at a number of offsite events as well as with local employers, giving you the necessary skills to take your first steps into a vibrant career within the catering and hospitality industry.

Ourstanding Facilities – The Perfect Recipe
One of the key differences between studying at College and studying at school is our first class facilities. Our students get the chance to cook in a fully equipped training kitchen as well as a commercial kitchen, used for our on-site award winning college restaurant, The Brasserie.
Bakery & Patisserie students get the opportunity to learn in the centre of excellence ‘Claire Clark Academy’ kitchen. All of these industry standard facilities will help shape your culinary skills.

Hospitality
A career in hospitality could lead you to a variety of jobs, it’s an ever-growing sector and fair to say the industry needs talented individuals to keep it running.
You will learn about customer service, crafting bespoke menus, and experience different areas of the industry.

This course covers everything from health and safety to how to prepare fish. You will work across two commercial kitchens, which will help give you a good idea of a busy kitchen life.
